Application:  

Magnesium whey acid is a magnesium salt of whey acid. It is a source of magnesium and is used as a mineral supplement to treat magnesium deficiency. Lactic acid acts as a transport protein that brings magnesium into cells. It is a key intermediate in the pyrimidine biosynthesis pathway and has antioxidant properties, which can promote the synthesis of enzymes acting as free radical scavengers.

Research has shown that magnesium whey has a role in treating various cardiovascular diseases.

1. Hypertension

According to reports, approximately 75 million American adults, or one-third of adults, suffer from hypertension. Many drugs are used to treat hypertension. But the side effects of these drugs may include insomnia, fatigue, and insufficient nutrition in the body. Therefore, it may not be a bad idea for doctors to propose alternative forms of treatment for hypertension, such as magnesium whey.

And a study involving 11 patients with hypertensive heart disease (caused by hypertension) and heart failure received 4500 milligrams of magnesium lactate supplementation daily. The results showed that this supplement significantly reduced patients' levels of NT proBNP (a substance produced by the heart that is released when the heart is stretched and strives to pump blood).

2. Coronary heart disease
